Since day one, our philosophy at S&P has remained simple: We are dedicated to bringing our community together with great food, great hospitality and a lot of love. It is our greatest joy and purpose to serve our guests, especially in times of need. However, our foremost responsibility is to protect the health and safety of our incredible staff, valued guests, and the community we love.

We’ve will be making few changes to comply with the Governor’s orders, as well as to maintain the health and safety of our employees when we re-open on June 18th. Please respect them!

  • We are currently not allowed to use our waiting area. Put your name on the list and wait in the parking lot or your car until you receive a text that your table is ready.

  • We are only able to accommodate 50% of our capacity, so if you see an empty table that does not mean it is available. Please wait for the host to seat you. Bar seating is not traditional and we have arranged tables to be 6 feet from one another. Do not move them.

  • Per the health department, tables are to be no larger than 10 people.

  • Sanitizer stations will be available upon entry and exit, as well as in the dining room and near the bar.

  • Please wear a mask where appropriate.

  • Our menu has been cut down due to changes in supply and availability. We hope you understand and hope to have all your favorites back someday!

  • We will be taking extra precautionary measures,  wearing masks and gloves, and sanitizing our most commonly used areas often.

  • Our dishes are always washed and sanitized after each use.

  • Our sanitizer product for cleaning menus, tables, condiments, salt & pepper shakers, high-touch areas like doorknobs, etc. kills the COVID-19 virus in 45 seconds.

  • If you have been exposed to COVID-19 recently or have symptoms of COVID-19 (including a fever, cough, or shortness of breath), please refrain from dining with us. You are welcome to place a carry-out order and take your food to go.

  • An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. By visiting Salt & Pepper, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

  • Please stay safe, stay healthy and stay our patrons and employees!

  • We will continue to adjust food and beverage service as well as enforcing social distancing in accordance with the current recommendations.

  • We have carefully communicated to our entire team that their health and safety are of utmost importance. All of our team members have been instructed to remain at home if experiencing ANY symptoms.

Now more than ever, we must come together in support of one another and the West Michigan community at large. We are confident that together, we will weather this storm and come out stronger than ever.
